FAQ
Everything we get asked before pre-orders open.
The Kit
What is a garage kit?
A garage kit is an unassembled and unpainted scale model kit. Unlike anime figures sold through retail, garage kits are produced in limited quantities by independent hobbyists or small artisan studios.
Will this come pre-painted?
This model will come unpainted and unassembled. A very limited number of pre-painted models will be available when pre-orders open.
Will the model be hollowed?
No, all parts will be printed in solid resin.
Aren’t 3D prints low quality?
They can be — however, this model has been designed like a legitimate garage kit with cuts to make things easier for GK painters, and will be printed at the highest quality resolution available with the latest 3D printing technology. Most "bad" prints you’ve come across are printed at .050 layer height — our models are printed at .020!
